UFC 137: PENN VS. DIAZ LIVE FIGHT-BY-FIGHT RESULTS live
The six-foot-three Parisian, who trains at champion Georges St-Pierre's Tristar Gym in Montreal, used his size advantage to keep Camozzi off his game and win a unanimous decision, 30-26, 30-27, 30-27.
"Chris is a tough guy, but this is what I do and I do it well," said the 30-year-old middleweight. "I'm ready for my next fight in a few months."
Carmont gave some of the Canadians who made the trip to Los Vegas something to cheer about after St-Pierre was forced to pull out of his scheduled title fight against Carlos Condit with a knee injury.
After a slow first round, Carmont brought the crowd to its feet in the second -- body slamming Camozzi, the former rugby player from Durango, Colo.
A half minute later he dropped Camozzi again with a big left hand and jumped on top of him looking for the finish. Carmont couldn't get it, despite several Canadian fans cheering him on. But his dominance was on full display as fans continued to trickle into the Mandalay Bay casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip to see the night's main event between Nick Diaz and B.J. Penn.
A bloody Camozzi fought to survive in the third round and literally stayed on the ground until Carmont signalled for him to get up. Carmont caught him with a couple of solid shots, but nothing as staggering as what he connected with in the second round.
Camozzi, who actually hooked on a kimura in the final seconds but couldn't lock it in, said the Carmont's reach threw off his game plan.
"I just wasn't able to pull the trigger on him. His distance really threw me off the entire bout," Camozzi said. "I had a great training camp. I really felt prepared for this. I just have to go back and work on a few things."
The bout might have marked the 24th fight of Carmont's career, but he said the scene at his first UFC fight was special.
"I couldn't be happier with the outcome," Carmont said. "I love what I do and I'm going to keep on doing it.

WWE Vengeance 2011 Recap: Hour Two
The second hour of WWE's Vengeance pay-per-view on October 23, 2011 continued the conspiracy storyline of recent months as Kevin Nash returned and sabotaged Triple H and CM Punk in their tag team match.
CM Punk and Triple H vs. The Miz and R-Truth
Backstage, R-Truth and The Miz reassured John Laurinaitis they would "live up to the letter of the law". He explained that he reinstated them because they "suck up well", leaving the two to argue about which one sucked up better (and to mock Triple H and Punk).
A lengthy montage of clips summed up the events that led up to their confrontation. Punk began the match against The Miz, and the two danced around each other until The Miz leaned through the ropes. Triple H slapped The Miz's head from the apron, giving Punk the chance to take advantage.

Video: Watch Douglas Murray get knocked out with one punch -

In the first period of the New Jersey Devils' 4-3 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks on Friday night, winger Eric Boulton(notes) took a run at Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle(notes). That prompted Douglas Murray(notes), Boyle's defensive partner, to fight for his honor.
Murray removed the pad on his right arm, locked up with Boulton and landed a few jabs … until Boulton unleashed the fury.
As Devils announcer Chico Resch says in the following clip about Murray: "He's not a fighter. He's from Sweden."
And with that, every NHL player that's ever been on the receiving end of a Douglas Murray hit slowly comes to their feet and slow-claps ...
Both players received five minutes for fighting; Murray was OK, finishing the game with 18:42 time on ice.
Solid win for the Sharks, by the way, as they rallied with two goals in the second period and then again in the third on a Joe Pavelski(notes) goal with 36 seconds remaining in the game. Joe Thornton(notes) had a goal and an assist in his 1,000th NHL game.
The Devils, meanwhile, saw forward center Josef Jacobson break his right clavicle on a tumble into the boards। Ouch.

LIBYAN OFFICIALS: GADDAFI KILLED Muammar Gaddafi Killed, Captured In Sirte
Following the capture of Muammar Gaddafi's hometown of Sirte, contradictory reports suggest that Colonel Gaddafi may have been killed or captured in Libya.
Al Jazeera and Libyan state television are reporting that the Libyan dictator has been killed during a gunbattle in Sirte. A senior National Transitional Council official, Abdel Majid, told Reuters by telephone that Gaddafi has died of wounds suffered during his capture in Sirte. Reuters reports that he was wounded in both legs as he "tried to flee in a convoy which NATO warplanes attacked."
WARNING: Graphic photos below.
The U.S. State Department has not confirmed Colonel Gaddafi's capture or death. "The State Department cannot at this time confirm media reports on the capture or killing of Muammar Qadhafi,” spokesperson Victoria Nuland said, according to Politico.
The Associated Press reports:
The Misrata Military Council, one of multiple command groups for revolutionary forces, says its fighters captured Gadhafi in Sirte. Another commander, Abdel-Basit Haroun, says Gadhafi was killed when an airstrike hit a convoy trying to flee.
Al Jazeera is showing footage of a man, reportedly Muammar Gaddafi, who appears to be dead on the ground. Below, see stills from the video (WARNING: Graphic images):

In Tripoli, celebrations are already underway with gunfire and honking. "We've heard quite a lot of celebratory gunfire," Caroline Hawley reports for the BBC.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton visited Libya on Tuesday to offer a new aid package. She told students during a gathering in Tripoli, "We hope [Gaddafi] can be captured or killed soon so that you don't have to fear him any longer."
Gaddafi was ousted from power in August, and his whereabouts have been unknown for months. The Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, accused Libya's former ruler of crimes against humanity.
Reuters is also reporting that an official from the National Transitional Council, Libya's interim government, has confirmed the death of Abu Bakr Yunis Jabr, Gaddafi's Minister of Defense।
Gaddafi dead: Colonel Gaddafi thought to have died during Nato airstrike
FUGITIVE Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was probably killed during a NATO airstrike as he tried to flee a rebel onslaught on his final stronghold.
The 69 year-old despot was shot in the head and both legs as he sped out of the coastal town of Sirte in a four-car convoy.
Opposition fighters said he died of his wounds shortly after the attack at dawn as the remnants of his loyalist inner-circle were overrun.
A picture believed to be of Gaddafi's bloodied corpse was displayed on live television and beamed all around the world today as rebels celebrated throughout Libya.

Witnesses said the assault on Sirte - which has been under siege for two months-was backed by NATO warplanes and naval warships.
NATO later confirmed its aircraft attacked two military vehicles near Sirte.
In a statement the alliance said: “At approximately 0830 local time (0630 GMT) NATO aircraft struck two pro-Gaddafi forces military vehicles which were part of a larger group moving in the vicinity of Sirte.”
NATO military spokesman Colonel Roland Lavoie said। “These armed vehicles were conducting military operations and presented a clear threat to civilians.”
Libyan Minister Mahmoud Shammam later confirmed that Gaddafi had been killed after he had personally spoken to fighters who said they saw the body.
Gaddafi’s death - shortly after being seized by rebel attackers - has finally ended the last remnants of his 42 year hold on Libya.

But one of the deposed leader’s sons Mo’tassim Gaddafi, was said to have been captured alive in Sirte by forces of the National Transitional Council।
Al Arabiya TV later promised to broadcast images of Mo’tassim after his capture.
Many of Gaddafi’s inner-circle have died in recent months but today the final remaining power figures were either taken alive or killed in fighting.
Libyan National Transitional Council official Abdel Majid Mlegta said Gaddafi was captured and wounded in both legs at dawn as he tried to flee in a convoy which NATO warplanes attacked.
“He was also hit in his head.” the official said. “There was a lot of firing against his group and he died.”
Television broadcasts showed footage of NTC troops celebrating the fall of Sirte and the apparent capture of Gaddafi, who was wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.
There were fierce gun battles on the streets of the coastal city in the morning, bringing an end to a siege which has lasted almost two months since the fall of capital Tripoli to rebel troops in August.
“Our forces control the last neighbourhood in Sirte,” NTC member Hassan Draoua said.
“The city has been liberated.”

Shortly afterwards senior National Transitional Council commanders claimed Gaddafi had died from wounds sustained in the final assault.
NATO said it was checking reports of the capture of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya and said they could take some time to confirm.
‘’We are checking and assessing the situation.’’ a NATO official said. ‘’Clearly these are very significant developments, which will take time to confirm."
Gaddafi has been rumoured to be hiding in Sirte for many weeks, although it was also believed he may be in his desert stronghold of Bani Walid, to the south.
A Libyan transitional forces commander said Moussa Ibrahim, former spokesman for Muammar Gaddafi’s fallen government, was captured near the city of Sirte this afternoon.
Abdul Hakim Al Jalil, commander of the 11th brigade, also said he had seen the body of the chief of Gaddafi’s armed forces, Abu Bakr Younus Jabr.
“I’ve seen him with my own eyes.” he said and displayed a picture of Jabr’s body.
“Moussa Ibrahim was also captured and both of them were transferred to our operations room.”
Later Al Jazeera Television broadcast pictures of the body of a man it identified as that of fallen Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s defence minister, Abu Bakr Younus.
The television footage showed a bearded man with a bullet hole just below हिस

Wild animals escape Zanesville, Ohio animal farm; lions, cheetahs, bears & wolves on the loose
Police are still hunting more than eight "aggressive big cats" including tigers, lions and cheetahs after dozens of wild animals escaped from an Ohio animal farm.
Residents were urged to stay indoors for their own protection and schools were closed as officers with a shoot-to-kill order hunted the animals, which included wolves and bears, last night.
A total of 25 animals were shot dead by police before they switched to tranquilizer guns this morning.

One of them was a bear that attacked a law enforcement officer, Jack Hanna, director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo, told ABC News.
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said: "There are 30-35 animals accounted for and may be more on the property."
Kim Hambel, director of operations for the Muskingham County Sheriff's Department, told CNN. "We're still concerned about animals that are out.
"We sent a deputy, a wildlife officer and a vet into the property to do a search and recovery. We think we still have 14 to 15 animals unaccounted for."
The alarm was raised by local residents who spotted the wild animals roaming free and dialled 911.
When police arrived at Muskingum County Animal Farm in Zanesville, east-central Ohioences, they found fences had been left unsecured and the animals' cages open. The owner Terry Thompson was lying dead nearby.
The caretaker told authorities the preserve's 48 animals had been fed on Monday. He said police were patrolling the 40-acre farm and the surrounding areas in cars, not on foot, and were concerned about big cats and bears hiding in the dark and in trees.
Officers said bears and wolves were among 25 escaped animals that had been shot and killed and there were multiple sightings of exotic animals along a nearby highway.
Speaking at the time Sheriff Lutz said: "These are wild animals that you would see on TV in Africa.
"This is a bad situation. It's been a situation for a long time.
"We don't know how much of a head start these animlas have had on us.
"We've got a list compiled...mainly there were grizzly bears and black bears. There were cheetahs, lions and tigers.
"Those are the primary things that we would be concerned with. Any kind of cat species and any kind of bear species is what we're mainly concerned about.
"The main concern, obviously, are the cats and bears.
"We have had two reports of a bear and a wolf - we think that there were three or four wolves."
Mr Lutz said four deputies with assault rifles in a pickup truck went to the animal farm, where they found the Mr Thompson dead.
He wouldn't say how Thompson died but said several aggressive animals were near his body when deputies arrived and had to be shot.
Mr Thompson, who lived on the property, had orangutans and chimps in his home, but those were still in their cages, Mr Lutz said.
The deputies, who saw many other animals standing outside their cages and others that had escaped past the fencing surrounding the property, began shooting them on sight. They said there had been no reports of injuries among the public.
WOW Video: Shia LaBeouf gets beat up in bar fight in Vancouver

Poor Shia LaBeouf recently suffered the indignity of getting ground and pounded on the curb by a shirtless fat dude outside a bar called Cinema Public House in Vancouver. Worse, it appears to have been non-consensual. You can see the video below. There isn’t much back story, but according to TMZ, both Shia and the guy had been kicked out of the bar minutes early. The video picks up with Shia on his back getting flabby punches rained down on him, when some bystanders intervene. They tap the fat guy on his shoulder and he almost falls down, so I’m going to go out on a limb and say that he was completely butthoused. As Shia appears to be.
video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player
According to TMZ, Shia had been a regular at the bar while he’s in Vancouver to shoot The Company You Keep (IRONIC TITLE ALERT, LOL!). Vancouver is a lot like LA except they actually shoot movies there. On an old Frotcast, our friend Justin told us a story about a friend who’d gotten kicked out of a party at Shia Labeouf’s house because the friend had dared question the plot of Transformers, and Shia got heated about it. So who knows? Perhaps this rotund ruffian had the temerity to besmirch the concept of robot heaven and it lead to the donnybrook. More details as they come. Anyway, my favorite part of the video isn’t actually the fight (which is pretty weak), but the part afterwards where Shia’s bros are desperately trying to calm their bro down before he bros out on everyone.
“BRO! Listen to me, bro! Am I your bro? Haven’t we always been f*ckin bros? Listen to me, bro. I’m telling you this as your bro: You gotta calm down right now, bro! …Bro, what do we do? He’s not calming down.”
There is nothing in the world gayer than a group of straight dudes consoling each other after a bar fight

VIDEO: 2YR OLD Chinese Girl Ruthlessly Run Over Twice - pedestrians do nothing to help her
As a Muslim, I was raised to care for humanity and had to share this video, even thought it's very disturbing. All that came to my mind: What is this world coming to....
This is not a race issue, it's an issue regarding the society people live in. This is a human rights watch. This incident happened to take place in China, but it doesn't mean all Chinese are blind to the sanctity of life. Please don't make it a race issue. May God Bless the child's soul.
I believe people didn't help because in a similar case of a man helping a woman who fell down, he was prosecuted for doing that. People must have had fear of helping the little child, but it's still no excuse of letting her bleed on the floor like that. Even animals shouldn't be treated like this. Who knew out of all the people, a trash collector came to the child's rescue; God bless her soul. I hope this opens people's eyes and shows them that we need reform.
WARNING: VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED; VERY GRAPHIC CONTENT
More than a dozen passers-by ignored a two-year-old girl as she lay critically injured on a street in southern China after being run over twice, the official Xinhua news agency said Monday.
The incident has sparked outrage on China's hugely popular social media sites.
Surveillance cameras showed a series of people walk past the girl, named Yue Yue, after she was hit first by a van and then a truck outside her family's shop in the southern Chinese city of Foshan.
Xinhua said a rubbish collector who finally came to the girl's aid, moving her to the curb and shouting for help, was ignored by several shopkeepers before he finally tracked down her mother who took her to hospital.
In response, one netizen on Sina Weibo, a Chinese micro-blog similar to Twitter, wrote: "This society is seriously ill. Even cats and dogs shouldn't be treated so heartlessly."
But others linked the incident to an earlier case in which a man who tried to help an elderly woman after she fell over was prosecuted, apparently because his intervention broke government rules on dealing with accident victims.
Doctors said Yue Yue was in a coma and unlikely to survive the ordeal.
"She would not be able to survive any operations. She's very close to brain death," a spokesman for the hospital treating her told AFP.
Police have detained the drivers of both vehicles involved in the incident, Xinhua said.
This Mom Was Charged With Neglect for Letting Her Kids Walk to Store
Sheriff's deputies say the kids walked from their home to a gas station near Interstate 77 on Sunday. A store employee flagged down a deputy.
Cole, who was being held in the York County jail, told deputies that she wasn't aware that her children had left the home, WBTV reports.
According to the report, the deputy went into the home and found it to be "extremely unclean [with] no sheets on the children's bed, animal feces all over the home." The deputy also reported finding multiple bags of trash, rotten food and a toilet clogged with feces in the home.
The deputy called the Department of Social Services to come to the home, and the children were taken by Cole's mother, WBTV reports.
Should Cole be found guilty of neglect? (We'd say evidence points to yes ...)
